🎏 Ford Focus 1.6 Tdci Alternator Problems

I have an intermittent starting problem on my Fusion 1.4 tdci. It can happen when the engine is hot or cold. They'res plenty of power in the battery and starter spins engine very good but it just doesn't fire up. Eventually engine will start. There's nothing wrong with the the way the car is running.

It can give you an indication. I know that about 5 minutes before my battery & alternator packed up I had a whine coming from the car. With ignition off battery should read 12.4 volts. Start the engine and it should read between 13.5v and 14.8v . Then switch on headlights, a/c etc and see if it drops at all. Quote.
